Monday May 28th, PA Fish & Boat Commission -
Fish for free day.
Fish for Free Days allow anyone (resident or non-resident) to legally fish
for Pennsylvania’s most popular fish without a fishing license. Each year the
Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's Executive Director designates 2 Fish
for Free Days. No fishing license is required to fish on Pennsylvania's
waterways on these days. All other fishing regulations still apply.
Fish for Free Days are the perfect opportunity to introduce a friend or
relative to the lifelong sport of fishing. There’s no better way to enjoy
Pennsylvania’s great outdoors than a day of fishing with the entire family.

JUNE BOOK SWAP!
Every Sunday--11am-1pm--Book Swap at the Canadohta Laundromat Building.
June 3rd, Cottage Tour Day (Sunday) 1pm - 3pm
A tour of select rental cottages and cottages for sale will be available to
the public. The owners of the rental cottages and real estate agents for the
cottages on sale will be conducting tours from 1-3 p.m. at their own
properties. Maps of the cottage tour route will be available at the Canadohta
Lake sign at the top of Circuit Drive. The cottage owners will identify which
cottage is open with balloons and signs. Some owners will be offering
refreshments at their own discretion. Have you been interested in a
particular property and wondering what it looks like on the inside? Join us
on Sunday, June 5th from 1-3 and satisfy your curiosity. Take a tour of local
cottages for sale or for rent and see what the lake has to offer! Sponsored

Ridge Road. price per pickup truck load to be
announced. 8am-4pm Saturday NO SUNDAY THIS YEAR. No tires, refrigerators,
paint, batteries, nothing with Freon

Ballfields. 1pm-5pm. Activities

Independence Weekend Events
Watch for All American Catering at Sally's Store parking lot!!
July 7th,
(Saturday), Bike Parade - registration at 10:30 am. Parade Starts at 11
am.
Bike Parade for kids sponsored by the Bloomfield Township Recreation Board.
Registration is at Elmwood Park at 10:30 then parade down to Canadohta Lake
park. Decorate your bike in a patriotic theme.
July 7th (Saturday) at 2:00 pm.
Boat Parade on the lake. This year's boat theme is the "Favorite
Song" and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

FIREWORKS OVER THE LAKE! Rain date is set for Sunday, July 8th. The
fireworks are funded solely by your contributions and the Canadohta Lake
Area Business Association. If you did not receive a donation form in the
mail there are forms available at local merchants or click here
to help. We thank you for your support over the years.

All children 3 years of age to entering 5th grade are Welcome! Time is from

At the Canadohta Lake Park picnic shelter. Kids fish in the lake and bring

July, (Sunday) Miss Canadohta Lake Pageant. 2pmContest
will be held at the Frog Pond pavilions. The Miss Canadohta Pageant is open
to girls from ages 6-19 who live within 35 miles of Canadohta
Lake. The categories and ages have been changed this year. There are four
categories: Little Miss for ages 6-8, Junior Miss for those 9-12, Miss Teen
ages 13-15 and Miss Canadohta for those 16-19. There is a $20 non-refundable
registration fee. The final deadline to register is July 3rd.
The winners of Miss Canadohta are required to represent the pageant as
visiting royalty at the Miss Crawford County Pageant. If they choose they may
enter the Miss Crawford County Pageant and if they win may go on to compete
in Miss Pennsylvania. Ultimately we could have a Miss Canadohta winner in the
Miss America Pageant!

August 4th, Cana Doo Wop Street Dance 2012 at Happi Jax 7 pm - 10 pm
Join us for a fun filled day at the lake. Activities and Events to be
announced
August 4th, Cana Doo Wop Craft Show, Frog Pond
Pavilions, 10am - 4pm
Sponsored by the Canadohta Lake Area Business Association. The show will
feature artisans from throughout the Erie County and Crawford County area.
The event will also feature music throughout the afternoon and food will be
available for purchase. The cost for space is $20.00 for a lawn location and
$25.00 for a location under the pavilion (all spaces are 12 x 12 feet). All
crafters must supply their own tables and an item is requested for a silent
auction to be held at 4:00. click here for an application. or
by contact Ann Bergheim at 694-2647. They will also be available at the Book
Swap on Sundays from 11-2. Come be a part of the continuing tradition of fun
for the community by displaying your art or craft on August 4th, or stop by
to pick up that special gift by our crafters and enjoy a day in the sun at

4th, Cana Doo Wop Classic car, truck & motorcycle "Cruise In"
at the Canadohta Roller Rink 12 pm to 3 p.m. with DJ Bill Mason
The vehicle entrance fee will be $3.00 and will benefit the children’s free
summer activities at Canadohta Lake and the annual fireworks display. First
100 entrants will receive a commemorative magnetic plaque for the event. A
Chinese auction will be held in conjunction with the “Cruise In”. Please
bring your classic vehicle to the lake for all to enjoy and appreciate. DJ
